Our Favorite Brands That Happily ‘Prostituted’ Themselves For Supreme

In perhaps the most brilliant brand feud to ever emerge from the fashion industry, footwear giant Birkenstock has rejected a collaboration with Supreme—in a big way.

You might remember Birkenstock’s Chief Sales Officer Klaus Baumann once disparaged the streetwear label for their obsession with “logos” over function. “If I put a bouncer outside our doors on Saturday and regulate letting people in, I too could have a queue outside.”

Now, in an interview with The Cut, Birkenstock CEO Oliver Reichert revealed that they would team up with the streetwear label only when hell freezes over, or when they are forced to turn to “prostitution.”

“There’s no benefit for us except prostitution,” he said. “Because this is just prostitution.”

There are many other companies, however, who readily resorted to “prostitution” when it came to Supreme. Listed below, are our favorites. Enjoy!
