Wearing white denim is nothing new–but if you’re tired of wearing it monochromatically with just other pieces, Cara Delevingne recently stepped out in a white denim look that we found to be quite refreshing and edgy.
The problem with white denim is usually that it’s so bright you don’t know what technically matches it, and the bright color makes the denim look so stark and crisp so you don’t have that many options. Either you dress it up, or it has to be completely dressed down, there’s no middle ground. So take note because Delevingne’s way of making it cool only requires a black tank top, a western-style belt, chelsea boots and layered bohemian necklaces to contrast the white denim.
Since she’s wearing boyfriend jeans that are already slightly baggy, they are easily tucked into the boots and have a more casual vibe, and the simple tank top, embellished belt and jewelry add texture to the outfit without making it too prissy, and the jeans are still the star of the outfit. It’s all around a fun way to wear white denim dressed down, cool, and fun.
