The video has Kill Bill vibes, with a setting in the Old West in a rural church. Cardi is surrounded by candles and crucifixes, the video starting off with her at an altar in a classic white Christian Siriano wedding dress with heavy, sparkly accessories and hot-pink acrylic nails (aka a dream wedding look). Her husband-to-be joins her at the altar in cowboy-flavored apparel. Then, the video cuts to Cardi at his funeral (things moved quickly!) paying her respects to her late husband. It’s basically the wedding—and funeral—goths dream about.
Jora Frantzis directed the “Be Careful” video and was the director also of videos for “Bartier Cardi” and “Bodak Yellow.” Cardi B looks, of course, stunning throughout the whole video. “It was one of the hardest videos I ever did because it was in the desert in the middle of nowhere, and, bitch, I was so hot—my pregnant motherfucking ass,” she said about the filming. “I never sweat, and I was sweatin’ that day. Like my underarms was sweating, under my titties. I never get under-titty sweat, but that day…for sure.”
