Street, skate and soccer culture blend together for a brand-new collection
It’s downtown skate style meets soccer club fandom. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Chinatown Soccer Club, they’ve teamed up with street and skatewear brand Chrystie NYC for a capsule collection.
The Chinatown Soccer Club is a crew of creatives who meet on the field year-round to bond over their love for the sport and bring their unique approach — the approach of artists, designers, skateboarders, and more — to the game. They first met in 2002 when Adidas invited people from New York’s creative industries to take part in the Fanatic Tournament where the Chinatown Soccer Club shared the field with Alife, Supreme and others, Sneakers Magazine writes.
The capsule collection offers special edition soccer jerseys, an assortment of graphic tees designed by Ryan McGinness, and hats and socks both skate and soccer friendly. You can shop the collection and watch the mini-documentary about the collaboration here.
