It might be difficult to imagine a rapper that loves strippers as much as Drake, 31, giving sound dating advice to a 14-year-old girl. But that’s exactly what Millie Bobby Brown opened up about in an interview with Access Hollywood at the Emmy Awards on Monday.
When asked about how her friendship with Drake came about, Brown said, “I love him, I met him in Australia,” adding, “and he’s honestly so fantastic and a great friend and a great role model.”
Sorry, pause. Isn’t this the same man who allegedly tried to keep his son with a famous stripper a secret? The same man who raps lyrics like, “I even fucked a girl I used to babysit but that was years later on some crazy shit”. Don’t get me wrong, I love Drake, too. I’ve listened to him since his album So Far Gone dropped in 2009, and still do, but would I call him a role model? I’m not so sure.
Regardless, Brown and Drake apparently text each other pretty often. “We just texted each other the other day and he was like ‘I miss you so much,’ and I was like ‘I miss you more,'” she said. She also said that Drake gives her advice “about boys, he helps me,” but that the contents of those discussion “stays in the texts.”
The unlikely duo have been friends for at least year. Brown said she plans to attend one of Drake’s Scorpion tour concerts when he comes to Atlanta.
