Ezra Miller Shook Up the Red Carpet With a Puffer Coat Gown

Ezra Miller isn’t afraid to take fashion risks. Miller, appearing on the red carpet for the Paris premiere of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, was nestled inside of a (literally) head-to-toe Moncler puffer-coat dress, and a proverbial black lip to boot.

The puffer-coat gown is one of Pierpaolo Piccioli’s designs, in collaboration with Moncler for its Genius Group series. Miller is known for his gender-bending, rule-breaking style, and this look is the sort of iconic red carpet photo that will probably be Instagrammed on a nostalgic celeb account 10 years from now.

Miller’s distinctive style was recently showcased in a spread for GQ Style, where he wore a green-knit dress from Salvatore Ferragamo. The interview is a must-read, if just for the fact alone that Miller owns four goats and, on the day of the interview, was acting as a midwife to one of the goats giving birth. And, dear reader, while wearing a floor-length Alexander McQueen coat and a Bikini Kill shirt, nonetheless.

Speaking about the styles he wore for the shoot, he said, ““I was pleasantly surprised and overjoyed by how much room there was for my very strange and fluid expressions.”
