We are seeking Fashion/Shopping Editor that identifies with our COOLS voice and enjoys a fast-paced environment to increase the production velocity of our shopping and fashion stories. Here’s what you’ll do . . .
Write and post stories.
Edit content to increase keyword optimization/density and craft SEO friendly title tags and meta descriptions.
Continually refine the COOLS editorial tone to ensure our content is on voice with our audience.
Research trends and continually develop new product and shopping recommendations that are appealing to our audience.
Analyze traffic and conversion results to fine-tune content and approach.
Work with Editorial Director and other COOLS stakeholders to identify short and long term e-commerce and content goals that will support company-wide business goals. Put action plans in place to achieve goals and report on progress on a periodic basis.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
At least two years experience writing shopping content in a digital environment.
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience analyzing performance across different verticals, product categories, retailers and content types to optimize revenue generation.
Ability to work at a vigorous pace, with strong multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills.
A self-starter who has their finger on the pulse of the NYC shopping and fashion scene.
