If you thought you’d already found the swimsuits to see you through the season, think again. FILA and swim label HAIGHT are back with their first internationally-available collaboration—and it will leave you weak at the knees.
If you’re not already familiar with HAIGHT, you’re about to be. This is the second time the Brazilian brand has teamed up with FILA — likely selected by the activewear giant for the conscious departure from the designs other popular swimwear brands of the nation. While we’ve accustomed to bathing suits in loud colors, obnoxious prints, and distracting details, HAIGHT keeps it clean—privileging minimalism and making sure you’re the one wearing the swimsuit, not the other way around.
This time the brains behind the brand, Marcella Franklin, updated some of FILA’s greatest hits from decades past. Each suit or leisurewear piece is muted, sophisticated and constructed with the worldly consumer in mind (read: earth-tones, ’90s-inspired cuts and the type of intentional versatility that allows each offering to transcend its intended purpose).
