The most popular trend taking over Hollywood isn’t a Dior saddle bag or pair of Gucci slides. No, it’s a trademarked patent on a lucrative beauty business.
A new day, a new brand: in the latest wave of celebrity-owned cosmetics and skincare, Hailey Bieber is following in the footsteps of Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, and (possibly?) Ariana Grande by filing a trademark for her own up-and-coming line, Bieber Beauty. According to the trademark filed to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the paperwork was submitted on April 10 through her company, Rhodedeodato Corp.
So, what can we expect from a Bieber-run beauty line? The only tidbit of information we have is that it will contain “beauty and cosmetics products.” It’s vague, but considering Bieber is a BareMinerals clean beauty ambassador, and her skincare routine is a staple in just about every conversation she has (her recent Marie Claire interview, anyone?), it all makes sense. Plus, considering that her husband has his own line of perfumes, we’re expecting some killer fragrances, stat.
