Janet Jackson Drops Music Video for Michael Jackson’s 60th Birthday

Today, Michael Jackson would have turned 60. The late pop singer may be gone but he is not forgotten. His number one fan, his sister Janet Jackson, certainly holds his memory closer to her heart than anyone else. In honor of her brother Michael, Janet dropped a music video for her song “Made For Now” that riffs on Michael’s iconic “Remember The Time” video from the 90’s. But Instead of Iman casting judgement, it’s Janet who’s playing queen.

You might be wondering who the turquoise-haired dancer is in the video. Janet tapped social media influencer Kwaylon Rogers (@BlameItOnKway) to star in the video short. “Kway” and Janet met at the Billboard Awards earlier this year, TMZ reports. Sources tell the site that Kway pitched the idea to Janet to recreate Michael’s legendary video.
