So we all know why we watch the Super Bowl: to judge the ads AND the half-time show. I still don’t understand a single thing about football, in spite of growing up in Texas, but I will watch the Super Bowl year after year for the ads alone. Super Bowl Sunday on February 4th is almost upon us, and it’s the Philadelphia Eagles vs. New England Patriots (tbh, I did not know this until I googled it five seconds ago.)

I may not know which two teams are playing, but I DO know that I’m very excited for Justin Timberlake’s half-time show — will there be another Nipplegate? Will Jessica Biel and their son come out on stage? Will Justin Timberlake be a true Man of the Woods and live stream his show from a forest in Montana? TBD!!! In the meantime, here’s what we know:

Timberlake will be wearing custom Stella McCartney for the show, and the looks are very Man of the Woods-inspired. Think camo, fringe, and an “earthy Western” aesthetic. One cool thing is that all the pieces will be made from organic cotton and repurposed wool, keeping with McCartney’s sustainability pledge. A press release from the British designer’s team says one outfit will consist of an “alter nappa fringed jacket with a shirt, featuring a landscape artwork by British artist Martin Ridley.”

So far, Timberlake is keeping mum on whether any special guests (cough, ‘N Sync, cough) will be joining him onstage. He told USA Today, “To be honest, I had a ton of grand ideas about special guests…There’s a whole list I think Vegas has a lot of odds on it, I heard, from ‘N Sync to (Jay-Z) to Chris Stapleton to Janet (Jackson). But this year, I’m just excited. My band The Tennessee Kids, they’re my special guests, and I’m excited this year to rock the stage.”
