A now chronicled Twitter tirade coming from Kanye West has gone viral. In a string of tweets, the “Gold Digger” rapper ended his ongoing beef with Drake. “Sending good energy and love to Drake and family and crew,” Kanye tweeted on Wednesday. “I haven’t seen [Drake’s Scorpion] show in person but the images look incredible online. I understand where the confusion started.”
Kanye proceeded to apologize for “stepping on [Drake’s] release date” of his album Scorpion. Kanye dropped his album Kids See Ghosts in early June at a destination party in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, which he didn’t include Drake on in any features. West also made it clear that he didn’t tell Pusha T about Drake’s child Adonis.
He also confirmed that he would be attending one of Drake’s Scorpion shows in the next week. “This is all Jedi level. I will be coming to your show within the next seven days to give love and be inspired by the art you have created,” Kanye tweeted, ending his Twitter rant (to which Drake still hasn’t responded).
Or so we thought!
He got back onto Twitter this afternoon to share a (now deleted) photo of Denim Tears aka Tremaine Emory behind streetwear enigma No Vacancy Inn and filmmaker Spike Jonze. Spike Jonze’s energy was so good, he got a shoutout from ‘Ye. “Great energy,” Kanye tweeted in an almost Trumpian tone along with another photo of Jonze.
We’ve deduced the possible outcomes of this fated encounter to the following: a Yeezy x No Vacancy Inn x Spike Jonze collaboration. Great Energy, indeed.
