Model and actress Kate Upton has announced the birth of her daughter with husband Jason Verlander.
The happy parents broke the news of the arrival of their baby girl on Instagram, revealing her name as Genevieve Upton Verlander. The baseball’s player’s comment of the date suggested she was born on November 7th, but her parents shared the news on November 10th with the caption “You stole my heart the first second I met you.”
The Houston Astros pitcher, who is nine years her senior, tied the knot with Upton in Tuscany, Italy, last November after three years of dating.
The Sports Illustrated model, who has been outspoken about Guess co-founder Paul Marciano’s harassment, has also been very open about the changes to her body during pregnancy. She shared an image from a Yamamay shoot stating that she “was so sick during her first trimester and it was really hard to get through.”
