Some beauty editors say it smells like the mall, others say gummy bears.

Here are things I would imagine Kim Kardashian’s new perfume smelling like: cream-colored Calabasas homes, really expensive hair products, lucite heels, and something really sweet but also kind of dark that you can’t quite put your finger on. That something dark would be Kim’s Paris Robbery, and no, that’s not a callous joke I just made, but apparently a true thing.

Her newest fragrance, Crystal Gardenia, was inspired by her recovery after the robbery, when, she told WWD, “a lot of my friends would come over and bring me healing crystals,” adding, “It’s very L.A.” The bottle, as well, is in a pale, opaque crystal shape, and each purchase comes with additional crystals (very Spencer Pratt of her!). “Being calm and healing” was the motivating sentiment behind the three scents: Crystal Gardenia, Crystal Gardenia Citrus, and Crystal Gardenia Oud. Kim’s signature scent, Crystal Gardenia, features top notes of lily and tuberose. Crystal Gardenia Citrus layers jasmine, and orange and lemon oil, and Crystal Gardenia Oud is inspired by her travels to the Middle East.

You can buy Crystal Gardenia, available in two sizes, for 75mL at $60 and 30mL at $35 on kkwfragrance.com starting today. This will be the ninth fragrance Kardashian-West has created, with her first being in 2009, a very sultry Kim Kardashian Signature. In a recent episode of KUWTK, Kim affirms there will be no sexy vibes this time around.

“This to me is about having positive vibes, positive energy,” she said in an episode of the show filmed during the project’s development. “Nothing about sexy. I’ve done that for every other fragrance. I think this is about—straight to the point, like, healing, clarity.”
