A new day, a new KITH collaboration. After dropping NYC-based collab projects with Versace—which made my oat milk matcha latte trips at Cha Cha Matcha much longer than they had to be—the streetwear mega-brand seems to have their eyes on a new venture: skincare.
In honor of International Women’s Day, KITH released their newest collaboration project with beauty conglomerate Estée Lauder. “A play on Kith’s motto ‘Just Us,’ the collection illustrates the idea of ‘Just You,’ celebrating the strength of every woman’s natural beauty with a selection of products that provide a complete skincare regimen to create beautiful,glowing, flawless skin,” the brand said in a press statement.
So, what can you expect when a classic brand like Estée Lauder teams up with a modern street-chic label? A disruptive, Queens-inspired take on the ideals of beauty, of course. The campaign features women of all different skin tones, baring the faux-natural look with fresh and bare faces and timely reinventions of Lauder skincare essentials that can give your face—and your beauty cabinet—a major glow-up.
For KITH’s first-ever venture into beauty, the brand explored the decades-old archives of the beauty conglomerate to reinvent its signature aesthetic into a modern, shelfie-approved collection. The 5-piece skincare collection calls in the elegance expected of Lauder, while maintaining the Soho-cool minimalism we all know and love from KITH. You can tuck away your #shelfie-approved resurgences of Estée Lauder staples—like the Lip Conditioner and best-selling Advanced Night Repair—in a custom acrylic case and canvas bag, all embellished with KITH’s signature logo.
