If you ever thought that Jenner would remain the sole owner of her brand ’til the end of time, then prepare to be mistaken: WWD reports she may be closing in on a deal to sell over half of her beauty empire to Coty Inc—the conglomerate that owns OPI and CoverGirl, among many others. But, Jenner isn’t getting the full boot: If the sale goes through, she’ll still own a full 49% of her namesake brand. And how much would she make from this sale? Oh, you know, just some $600 million.
To some of you, this news might not be so surprising. According to WWD, Jenner’s been in talks with different investors for quite some time, but hasn’t found the right fit until (possibly) now. In May, momager Kris Jenner also told the publication that “there will always be some interest” in selling the brand.
Well, if all fails, she can always turn to babies.
