Kylie Jenner Makes $1,000,000 For Posting a Single Instagram

Ever wonder how much Kylie Jenner’s Instagram posts go for? Well, as a completely unofficial influencer expert, I can’t tell you much. But, thankfully the fine people of HopperHQ—an Instagram analytics and “scheduling” app—have compiled all of the stats about Instagram’s highest paid celebrity influencers. According to HopperHQ, Kylie Jenner’s Instagram is helping her rake in $1,000,000 per sponsored post (that’s in addition to her Kylie Cosmetics sales, which were valued at $1 billion in 2017).

Kylie’s ahead of Selena Gomez (she holds some Insta records of her own), who can charge up to $800,000 for a sponsored post. Soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo comes in third at $750,000 per post. Kylie’s sis Kim Kardashian comes in at $720,000 per post. And Beyoncé rounds out the list at $700,000 per paid pic.

Kylie recently was on the receiving end of an Internet-wide backlash after Forbes named her the “youngest-ever self-made billionaire”. Critics say the 21-year-old social media mogul is not self-made, given her family’s financial status before Kylie Cosmetics started.

Sister Kim stuck up for Kylie in a Refinery29 interview saying, “I really didn’t get it, because she is ‘self-made’ — we are all ‘self-made’.”

Kim continued with her most salient point, “What, because we came from a family that has had success? To me, that doesn’t really make sense… I know so many people like that [who] haven’t turned out to be as successful as Kylie. If anything, I’ve seen the complete opposite.”
