It’s True: Lady Gaga’s Beauty Brand Is Finally Here

Within the past year, Lady Gaga has given her Little Monsters a lot to love (cc: a Las Vegas residency, everything A Star Is Born-related). But she’s not done yet: Blessed be the day, because after months (if not years) of speculation, Mother Monster has finally announced the making of her beauty brand.

On Tuesday morning, Gaga unveiled a first look at her latest venture—Haus Laboratories—which is filled with just about everything you could expect: glitz, glamour, a whole lot of glitter, and a bounty of trippy visuals.

As for what we can expect from the brand, in an interview with Business of Fashion, Gaga said the line will launch with “kits combining lip gloss, lip liner and all-over color,” and will expand into a full collection of products over time.

On Thursday, Allure released a first-look at the products in Gaga’s debut line, which includes the RIP Lip Liner (which Gaga dubs as “a lip liner to die for”), Le Riot Lip Gloss, and the most sought-after of the bunch, a liquid-to-powder shimmer pigment named Glam Attack. Each product will come in six shades, and is Gaga-guaranteed to still hone in the power of makeup that can “change how you feel when you’re at your lowest.”

“Color is completely transformative—it’s powerful, it’s beautiful, and it’s how I found my voice with makeup,” she told BoF. “I have a platform in the world. God gave me this voice for a reason, I don’t know why, I ask myself that question all the time, but I’m sure as hell not going to put out a beauty brand that is going to drive insecurity and fear into people. This is about liberation.”

Haus Laboratories is set to launch exclusively on Amazon in September, but if you’re eager to get your hands on the collection as soon as it’s out, you can pre-order it starting July 16th.
