Lady Gaga, as expected, slayed the f*cking game at the 2019 Met Gala red carpet. Her ensemble(s) represented everything we know and love about the ‘extra’ aesthetic that is camp: outfit changes, dramatic drops along the stairs as if she owns the damn place (let’s be real, she basically does now), a hoard of male dancers serving to her every whim, and, of course, her metallic lashes literally took Met Gala beauty to nearly-impossible lengths.
Gaga, in all her glory, may have switched her outfit an exact four times, but shantay the lashes stay. The look, created by Marc Jacobs Beauty Global Ambassador Sarah Tanno, brought a heightened homage back to Gaga’s extravagantly gaudy days of her early career. While Tanno is mum on how she created these cyber-diva lashes, we can only assume they will be part of her upcoming rumored beauty line, Haus of Gaga, coming (hopefully) soon.
We can D.I.Y. those lashes with a quick trip to Party City, but if you want the full Gaga glam, then grab Tanno’s essentials below:
