Meghan Markle has been in the royal spotlight for sometime now, but Lady Kitty Spencer, 27, is ready for her close-up. Spencer is the model niece of the late Princess Diana. She is one of the many OG royals that have managed to keep the trappings of their private lives, well, private.
Spencer was born in the UK, but moved to Cape Town, South Africa at a young age. Her family wanted to escape the media attention.
Over the years, she has been an advocate for a number of charitable causes. She caused a stir in 2016, when she told The Times of London that she “envied” homeless people because “they know exactly what they want to do and what their talents are.”
As a cousin of Prince Harry and William, Spencer has been in the public eye for awhile now. But earlier this month, her modeling turn in the Dolce & Gabbana AltaModa show (where she walked with legend Naomi Campbell) had people talking.
Spencer’s features, like her blue eyes and blonde hair, are strikingly similar to Princess Di’s, as people are noting online.
She’s started racking up the brand endorsements, as well. She’s the UK ambassador for high jewelry brand Bulgari, and is regularly seen in their pieces.
For the royal wedding, Lady Kitty Spencer wore a dress by none other than Dolce & Gabbana. The green dress was hand-painted and topped off by a Philip Treacy headpiece. Naturally, she finished off the look with jewelry by Bulgari.
