New York-based designer LaQuan Smith has had a momentous few years. His eponymous brand has grown significantly thanks to some recognizable names: Beyoncé, Cardi B and Kim Kardashian among them. Smith’s clients come in flocks for his eclectic designs; Bey’s crystal mesh bodysuit and blazer might be the perfect embodiment of the designer’s glamorous yet casual approach to celebrity dressing.
Now, the designer is hitting us with his ASOS Design x LaQuan Smith collection. This is, officially, ASOS’ biggest collaboration to date: it features a range of accessories, womenswear, menswear, ASOS Curve and Plus styles.
In an interview with ASOS Magazine, Smith says his collection represents, “Confidence and being unapologetic in who you are. It’s always abotu accentuating the body and this concept collection will reinforce that in an affordable and attainable way.”
