Lindsay Lohan hasn’t quite been the same since circa 2007, when she dealt heavily with drugs and alcohol addictions. Since then, Lohan has been in jail and rehab, while her acting career has waned. Today, the New York Times released an interview with the chilled out actress about living in the United Arab Emirates.
Lohan migrated to the UAE about a year ago to escape all of the paparazzi. The constant clicking of cameras is what Lohan tells the Times gave her “this paranoia in [my] head that’s not necessary”.
Apparently, the solution to her paranoia was to open Lohan Beach House. The beach club sits along part of the Kalo Livadi beach, and has a restaurant, bar, and a swath of beach to lounge on. It also happens to be the place where her “former fiancé, Russian socialite Egor Tarabasov, was filmed assaulting her a few months later.”
Ironically, Lohan says she wants to keep out of the spotlight, but the Times writer notes how LiLo geotagged images of the beach club on Instagram during their interview.
“‘How come the deeply troubled women, you know, deeply, deeply troubled, they’re always the best in bed?’,” Donald Trump asked Howard Stern in 2004, in relation to Lindsay Lohan.
Surprisingly, Lohan has little to no feelings on the subject of Trump’s presidency.
“Here’s the thing: very simple with politics,” she said. “He’s the president. No matter what anyone says, he’s still the president. I have no feeling. I have no emotion.”
Tiffany Trump, on the other hand, gets a pass from Lohan.
“A really sweet girl. Nice person,” Lohan described Tiffany, who will be visiting her next month in Greece.
Despite all of the R&R, Lohan is all about the “business side” of her life now. She has a British show in the works called “Sick Note” and is supposedly working on other projects around the world.
