Louis Vuitton’s New “Prototype” Bag Has An Actual TV On It

Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2019 runway show may have taken place inside New York City’s TWA Flight Center, but the collection was a far cry from the clichéd airport style we’re used to seeing. The offering, which designer Nicolas Ghesquière says was inspired by “departure,” was filled with light, elegant fabrics mixed with structured detailing. One look saw a pair of satin boxing shorts paired with a corset, while others included everything from stirrups and belts to leather skirts and glittery bolero jackets.

Almost more exciting than the clothing coming down the flight center’s steps were the new prototype ACTUAL VIDEO bags carried by many of the models. On Instagram, the brand shared a video of the new accessory writing:  “Canvas of the Future. #LouisVuitton premiered prototypes of a new cutting-edge bag design on the runway today.”

It’s not clear how the bags work, what will play on them, or when/if they will actually be available for purchase, but it’s definitely intriguing. I, for one, am ready to force all of New York City to watch Gossip Girl reruns while I’m heading to work.
