Low-Heeled Sandals You Can Hit The Pavement In This Spring

It’s true: Hibernation is over, pals. It’s time to shed the heavy coats we’ve been bundled up in for the last four months and slip out of our Heattech socks and leather boots and into a pair of something breezier. A sandal, perhaps? The silhouette of choice for 2019 seems to be a low-heel, oft-strappy iteration that subtly nods to the ’90s and early aughts. Yes, you could call them kitten heels, but there’s a wider range of these low-to-the-ground sandals happening. There are block heels with ankle straps that are well-suited for the New York City commuter who wants to avoid a heel in the subway grates moment (we are not Rihanna, after all). There are woven slides for the individual who appreciates a Kinfolk-inspired artisanal touch. There’s even a circular lucite heel for the trend-forward, mule-loving lady in us all.

In other words, it’s time to start thinking about your spring sandals, and the options below are going to get you on the right foot in the most comfortable way possible (read: no super-high stilettos in sight).
