I’m obsessed with the new Kush Mascara from Milk Makeup. I’ve only been using this mascara for a week, and I am actually addicted. I kid you not, I got into the car after a weekend away from my boyfriend and the first thing he asked is if I got fake eyelashes while I was out of town.
I was first intrigued by Kush because it’s made with cannabis oil, and I just had to know what that does to your lashes. Milk advertised that Kush is nourishing, softening, and hydrating to your lashes, but really it does so much more.
You might be thinking, “Wait will putting weed on my lashes make me high?” But it’s not that kind of marijuana. Milk Makeup turned to the cannabinoid CBD for a vegan way to mix a creamy texture onto your lashes. And it seems to me like cruelty-free options are even better beauty products than their non-vegan counterparts.
Kush definitely lays it on way thicker than my standard, dried up drugstore-brand mascara, and the volume is slightly overwhelming. Let me backtrack for a sec—I’m forever scared of looking like I have forbidden forest of spider legs crawling out of my eyes, so any amount of volume worries me a bit. So I do still use a brush to comb through the thickest bits after I apply my Kush, but overall I’m loving this mascara. Once brushed through, my lashes look naturally long and prominent.
Also worth noting—one oil based K-Beauty face wash doesn’t quite remove all of the mascara, so I’d recommend a second wash or a preemptive makeup remover before hitting the hay.
But what’s really important is that this mascara makes your eyes look fantastic. Trust me, once you try Kush Mascara you won’t want to go back.
