Nick Jonas and his parents have officially landed in Mumbai, India. The “Anywhere” singer and his folks are there visiting Jonas’ fiancé Priyanka Chopra and her family. Nick’s dad, Kevin Sr., arrived with a big, blue Tiffany & Co. bag. What’s inside? Could it be filled with gifts for Chopra and her family?

In India, historically, the bride’s family is supposed to give the groom’s family a dowry of some sort, meant to symbolize an act of “giving” their daughter. Laws have been in place to make this illegal, but are believed to be largely ineffective. Given the fact that dowries continue to be a large issue in India for many bride’s families, it’s nice that the Jonas’ likely brought gifts for Chopra and her family.
And from Tiffany & Co. no less, the same place that Jonas allegedly bought Chopra’s engagement ring from. Reports say that Jonas shut down an entire Tiffany & Co. store to find Chopra’s massive sparkler, believed to be worth around $100,000.
Chopra recently showed off her new ring on fellow Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon’s Instagram.
Ahead of his own nuptials, Nick Jonas recently wished a happy anniversary to his parents, who have apparently been together for 33 years.
