Meghan Markle should avoid garlic, according to a report by The Cut. The royal chef at Buckingham Palace spilled the beans on the Queen’s most disliked foods. The Queen can’t stand the pungent smell of garlic in any of the dishes served. She also hates onions.
“We can never serve anything with garlic or too much onions,” Darren McGrady, the royal chef at Buckingham Palace, told Express. “The Queen would never have garlic on the menu.”
Despite the Queen’s preferences, Meghan has proven to be a vigilante. She has been breaking rules since before she and Prince Harry got engaged. Some of her biggest royal faux pas include ignoring the royal pantyhose policy, and wearing a sleeveless dress to the trooping of the color (the nerve).
In the past, Markle has voiced her love of Filipino food, and more specifically chicken adobo, which apparently requires loads of the Queen’s most hated ingredients.
Markle may have to start sneaking bites of the garlicky goodness in the butler’s pantry if she doesn’t want to get the royal axe.
