Here comes the bride…and she’s going to have to sign a prenuptial agreement before anything is official. That’s what TMZ is currently reporting on the relationship and engagement of Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin. Naturally, a “source with direct knowledge” tells the outlet that both Baldwin and Bieber are “lawyering up” ahead of their wedding.

After being papped at a New York City courthouse, it was previously believed that the young couple had eloped, but apparently that’s not the case. Bieber, 24, and Baldwin, 21, were supposedly just at the courthouse to obtain a marriage license, which is basically an application to get married, in case you didn’t know (I didn’t). Hailey recently said in an interview that she and Justin are planning a wedding ceremony sometime in 2019. “I just picture lights everywhere,” Baldwin said at the time. “I think having it in the woods would be so beautiful.”

Well, that’s all great, but Bieber (whose net-worth is a hefty sum greater than Baldwin’s) wants to make sure his financial ducks are in a row before committing to “’til death do us part.” Bieber’s net worth reportedly rings in at $250 million, while Baldwin’s is somewhere around a few million. Yesterday, before news of their prenup surfaced, Violet Benson shared her thoughts on the matter:

We hope you find solace in this news, Violet.
