The Fairy Bomb captures a very signature late 90s-early 2000s beauty trend, the all-over body shine. It’s been slowly creeping back into fashion for a while now, with Fenty Beauty itself being all about the glow. Fairy Bomb is a fuzzy powder puff with shimmery highlighter pigments. The new products can work together, too. You can apply the Body Lava oil first, then set the oil by patting Fairy Bomb powder all over. Body Lava will come in two shades: a peachy “Who Needs Clothes,” and a gold “Brown Sugar.”
Rihanna herself has been trying the product, sharing a Boomerang where she dabbed the powder on her shoulders and chest — captioned, of course, with “puff puff pass”. According to her Instagram story, her bottles of Body Lava are “almost empty.” TBH, that alone sells me. What also sells me is the super-fluffy puff ball that looks like it could double as stress relief. As Cosmo says, to apply the Body Lava, all you need to do is “simply squirt a small amount (or a large amount, you do you) onto your skin and buff it in with a large kabuki brush for the glow of your dreams.”
There isn’t much information currently about shade range and pricing, but we’ll be updating you as we know. In the meantime, make a Google Calendar reminder for April 6. Earlier this month, Fenty Beauty dropped a hilarious (and beautiful) ad celebrating makeup for men, with Instagram personality @BlameItOnKway as the star. BadGalRiri also recently celebrated her 30th birthday with a new Dirty Thirty highlighter.
