According to Page Six, a trademark was recently filed for “Fenty Skin,” and is noted to include a whole bunch of skincare essentials. The trademark listed that this line has been filed to (possibly) include a batch of skincare goodies slapped with Rihanna’s upcoming brand on them, such as “Medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care, and personal care products (excluding color cosmetics, perfume, and other fragrance-only products), and related accessories such as kits, tools, and applicators.”
So, we’re assuming it will contain the usual: serums, moisturizers, masks, and cleansers galore. But, especially with the ultra-high standards that have been set with her makeup line, we’re expecting her to pull a few tricks from her sleeve (err, medicine cabinet?).
The idea of Rihanna starting a line of complexion-reviving products is far from new. Back in 2017, one Twitter user sent the beauty world in a mass frenzy after tweeting a snap of a trademark registered under “House of Fenty,” but nothing has yet to come of that.
Considering the fact that the newest trademark was just filed in late March, we’re probably not going to see some Fenty Skin for quite some time. But, don’t fret — at least we still have Fenty Beauty to help us “shine bright like a diamond.”
