Roger Federer is Trading Up Nike Endorsement for Uniqlo

Tennis player Roger Federer is switching up teams. Federer and his longtime outfitter Nike have parted ways. Now, the pro has signed on with Japanese brand Uniqlo. Federer is said to make $300 million from his deal with the brand.

On Monday, Federer stepped onto the court at Wimbledon wearing an all-white Uniqlo outfit—with Nike tennis shoes. As Vogue reports, Nike still owns the rights to the RF logo, but Uniqlo has a plan B: patches, which will most likely be incorporated into Federer’s collection with the brand.

There’s no word yet on any available merch at Uniqlo, but fans of Federer can probably expect some sporty duds coming soon.
