Selena Gomez Claps Back at Comments Over Her Met Gala Look

Many people are speculating that this is Gomez’s “clap back” to everyone’s unsolicited opinions about her Met Gala look. Reactions to Gomez’s fully bronzed face, decolletage and body were only slightly mocking.

“Selena Gomez isnt ugly but her makeup team did her so bad,” wrote one user.  

While some Internet critics chided Gomez about her makeup artist’s choice of coverage, others added a bit of levity to the situation, recalling the Friends episode when Ross got that awful spray tan. 

And as quickly as the “Heart Wants What it Wants” singer moved on from the Internet spat, so have her fans, who are counting down on Twitter for Gomez’s new single “Back To You” which officially dropped today at 12pm EST.

Change is the agent that continues to propel Gomez forward these days it seems. Us Weekly exclusively broke the news from a “secret source” that she and Justin Bieber have officially parted ways, after the couple got back together in late 2017. Her family is apparently supportive, according to the source.

“Selena started seeing the bigger picture when it came to their relationship, like what was more important: her general happiness and her family and friends approval, or her being together with Justin, where no one really supported their relationship,” said the source.

The source continues, “She obviously chose happiness and her friends and family and is so thrilled about her decision-making process,” the source continued before adding, “She feels more empowered than ever and is looking forward to this next chapter.”
