This might be the story of another celebrity about to crush the beauty industry. Serena Williams has already been one of the greatest athletes of our time, and next, it’s looking like she’s about to dominate the beauty world.

TMZ reported that Williams filed the trademark for the name “Aneres” (“Serena” spelled backward) in late January. She first filed documents to trademark the name in 2003 for a clothing line, but a new patent was filed on January 30, 2018. Williams hasn’t commented on the line yet, but The Cut reports that, according to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the collection can include “skin care, cosmetics and makeup kits, colognes and perfumes, lotions, and body washes. It can also include hair products, including normal and dry shampoos, hair sprays, and hair gels. She’s also allowed to make (decorative) backpack charms.”

First Kylie, then Rihanna, now Serena. Williams, mom to five-month-old daughter Alexis Olympia, is a true power woman who also inspired recently with her Nike ad during the Oscars where she said, “There’s no wrong way to be a woman.” We can’t wait to hear more about Aneres!
