Fresh, the New York City-based beauty brand, is teaming up with the French fashion label Sézane. The match made in heaven is sure to please beauty-obsessed francophiles with sensitive skin.
Dubbed “La Vie en Rose,” the Fresh X Sézane line is centered around the rouge fleur and all of its healing benefits, which include anti-inflammatory and potent antioxidant properties.
“Roses are native to Grasse in the French Riviera—during the spring, you can walk down the streets and smell their amazing aroma,” Morgane Sézalory, Sézane founder, tells Allure. When she thinks of roses, “I think about the song La Vie en Rose by Edith Piaf, which translates to Life in Rosy Hues.”
Fresh’s co-founder Alina Roytberg thought to make the brand’s rose products a part of the collaboration, because they reflect the “effortless beauty rituals of French women, who always look fresh-faced.”
The collection is certainly filled with a broad offering of rosy products.
For the skincare fanatics, there is a curated line of Fresh products, which includes an array of moisturizing products like the brand’s famous Fresh Rose Face Mask, Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner, Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream, and the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser. If you’ve ever tried the hydrating face mask, then you already know it’s a skincare staple that’s actually worth the investment.
For all of your jet setting needs, the brands have also joined forces to create a co-branded leather make-up pouch covered in, what else, roses, which will be available with the products for $64 on Fresh.com, Sezane.com, and in Sezane boutiques in NYC and Paris.
To round out the collection, Sézane will sell a t-shirt with the word “rose” in a simple, très chic, pink font. The t-shirt will be exclusively available at Sezane locations and online.
The limited-edition collaboration is available starting Wednesday, May 16.
