The Ides of April brings festival season in full swing, and the Queen Bee of them all is Coachella. The annual music + art week has become as sceney as the star-studded line-up. Countless celebs and "it" girls flock to the fest every year, snapping sunny selfies from the their glamping bungalows while their followers camp out in leopard print tents. While the name often conjures of a sea of festivalgoers rocking feathers and flower-crowns galore, we suggest scrapping the neon spandex and "boho" trend packs. Get a new Coachella perspective!
Channeling Alexa Chung, Kate Bosworth, and Diane Kruger- mix up easy lightweight tops, vintage denim (non-distressed), non-clingy dresses, and one-pieces that take you from day concerts to Palm Springs party nights. They're clean styles with that you WILL wear again and not just ‘save’ for outdoor music experiences.
Your focus should be on dancing your heart out, so you don't want anything that's gonna weigh you down. Keep your accessories to a minimum; cross body bags are key for hands-free fun. And as much as we all dream for Prince Charming to pull our heel out of the mud à la Bridget Jones, you'll be better off in flats Cinderella. Feel light in linen and mobile in these microminis. With super wearable pieces like Reformation's crepe wrapdress and the Brother Vellies Palma bag (on mega sale), they're festival fab but equally poised for city strutting. Now slather on the SPF, pop your sunnies on with a smile and you’re good to go!
