Hand poured from natural soy wax, Sandalwood and Black Pepper is a truly luxurious candle fragrance and very gender neutral. Sage concrete is the perfect complement to our grey, white and Snocam concrete, so whether you choose to mix it up with other colours and sizes of holders and stack high, or keep it on the low-down with this elegant slim set, you can still replace the candle with a tealight from time-to-time for a completely different look. The candle holder sits upon a smaller natural cork foot creating a floating aesthetic when placed directly on a surface, or a snug connection when stacked on top of another holder. Our unique concrete recipe ensures a smooth luxurious surface and unexpectedly warm touch. After 2 weeks curing our concrete is treated with a natural oil coating to help deter marking. As each item is poured by hand there may be slight variations in colour and natural surface imperfections. We embrace this it is a part of the design and adds individuality to each piece, but rest assured we will never send out a piece that we are not 100% happy with. All of our candles use square cotton-braided wicks and are hand poured from soy wax blended with a sprinkling of beeswax to add strength, prevent drips and produce a stable burn. The slim candle has a burn time of 45-50 hours. Important Candle Information: WARNING! Candles can cause fires. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn candle out of reach of children and pets. Always leave at least 10cm between burning candles. Do not place on or near anything that can catch fire. Trim wick to about 0.5cm before initially lighting and again before each subsequent burn. On the first burn, always burn for 3-4 hours to ensure an even melt pool. Never burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time. Always snuff out the flame. Do not blow it out. Never attempt to put out a candle with water. Never burn a candle down to the bottom. Extinguish about 0.5cm before the end. Ensure the inside of candle is free from debris such as old wick or matches. Use a metal tool to straighten a curled or tilted wick to the opposite direction to correct uneven burning.. ALLOW TO POOL Upon the first use, allow your candle to burn until the entire surface has turned to a liquid wax (approx. 2 hrs). This will help activate the memory of the wax, your essential oils and prolong the life of your candle to give the best fragrance throw. Always burn your candle for a maximum of 4 hours. You can relight your candle once the top solidifies. TRIM YOUR WICK Always trim your candle wick to 5mm after each burn to ensure an even burn. This creates a good memory pattern for subsequent burns. Once your candle solidifies it may look a little lumpy or have air bubbles - don't worry it's a natural wax so this is the natural effect. This effect disappears once the candle is relit. USE YOUR CANDLE SAFELY Stop using your candle when 5mm of wax remains on the base. Place your candle on a flat heatproof surface. We recommend placing your candle on a coaster. Never leave children unattended near an open flame. Avoid drafts. VESSEL CARE & UPCYCLING Wipe your vessel with a microfibre cloth - no harsh chemicals are required. To upcycle your vessel, remove the remaining wax by placing the vessel in the freezer to harden and scrape the wax out. Or you can safely discard the remaining wax on your final burn and then immediately wipe the inside the vessel with a cloth and warm water to remove any residual liquid. - DO NOT throw wax down the sink or drainpipe.
