FORNASETTI Trays. Rectangular tray that has been printed, varnished and painted by hand. The "Ultime Notizie" decoration depicts butterflies that sit on numerous newspaper cuttings. This is one of the most classic and recurring motifs of Fornasetti's production. Still today, the atelier creates this decoration by painting each butterfly by hand and meticulously following the original color on paper models from the archives of Piero, who had initially developed and applied this decoration on many of his objects.
