The Supreme dream is getting an all-American makeover, thanks to the denim legacy label Levi’s. The two brands are banding together yet again, this time to produce a spring collaboration that will reach shelves and e-commerce stores later this week on Thursday, May 24.

Just when you thought the collaboration machine had slowed down with their recent foray into tiny sunglasses, Supreme X Levi’s is coming out with a 6-piece denim collaboration that is essentially made to look like a denim tracksuit, depending on how you style the pieces. It features a custom-fit stonewash Trucker Jacket with pinstripes. The pinstriped jacket has two breast pockets and two buttons on the back to adjust the jacket as needed.

The other style in the forthcoming collab is a loose-fitting pair of stonewashed 550 jeans, also complete with pinstripes. Both pieces are available in three different colorways: a classic blue, black, and neon pink for those who want to really make a statement.

One person on Twitter described the forthcoming collab as, “basically the Canadian tuxedo meets the Wall Street power suit meets hot pink.”

True, the trucker jacket and jeans are meant to be worn together, but that does not exactly seem like the outfit that Supreme and Levi’s fans are interested in wearing. According to a slew of tweets from Hypebeast’s Twitter page, fans think the upcoming Supreme x Levi’s drop is quite ugly-looking.

“Nah, I’m good man,” wrote one user about the pinstriped getup.

One person joked about the similarities between the pinstripes and prison gear.

One person even went as far as to call the collection straight up garbage.

Despite all of the naysaying that is currently happening on Twitter, the collection is bound to sell out eventually. For as many people who are online bashing the collaboration, there are about twice as many young hypebeasts that are waiting to line up at the Supreme store and scoop up the latest drop from the retailer.
