Taylor Swift Rocked a Bizarre, Colorful Frilly Thing And We Don’t Hate It

Last night, Taylor Swift launched a three-night stint at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. During her two-hour set, the pop star went through three costume changes, in turn showcasing four different looks, all perfectly on-brand for her.

After a long-sleeved and sparkling body suit that she paired with thigh-high lace-up boots and then another booted look with a leather jacket and mini skirt, Swift’s second-to-last ensemble was one to be remembered.

She wore a colorful mini dress with flapper-esque fringe throughout. And when we say colorful, we mean colorful—and not colors that you’d typically see paired lately.

The colorblocks started with cobalt blue at the top, worked its way down into a bubblegum pink (no toned-back millennial shading here), and ended with a bright orange at the bum. Bizarre, yet intriguing.

The 28-year-old singer shook in this frilly number to “Shake it Off,” and left fans awed. Though we thought she looked a bit like the beak a tropical toucan, fans had other ideas.

Regardless, you’ve got to be brave to try to pull off that dress.
