Resort Wear You’ll Have To Book A Vacation For

Whether I’m going on a seven-day vacation or sneaking away on a three-day getaway from the City, I always run into the same issue: I overpack. I’ve yet to figure out a way to curate a tiny, travel-worthy wardrobe that’s both weather-appropriate, comfortable, and perfect for whatever I get into (AKA a night of dancing and one super fancy dinner that I definitely can’t afford, but totally deserve).

I think the worst thing, though, is arriving at my destination only to find out that literally nothing I packed will work. (With all of the strict and weird, oxymoron-esque dress codes, it’s a wonder anyone knows what to wear. I mean, “elegant casual;” come on. ) So to help you avoid falling down the rabbit hole that I inevitably fall into with each trip I take, here’s a quick what-to-pack guide for rocking each strange category of resort wear, no matter your destination.
