Like gold, silver-and-red sequins, and glitter everything, velvet usually makes a few select appearances during the winter months. Thanks to the street crew at fashion week, however, velvet is having a moment.
Velvet (if done right) has the ability to make even the plainest outfit look effortlessly chic. Velvet bows, for example, are the perfect way to add a bit of oomph to your typical jeans and T-shirt combo.
From an affordable, yet classically chic black velvet bow to an upscale knotted headband, here are a few velvet hair accessories we’re falling for this season.
Velvet Hair Bow
This year, Anne Curtis—the very first female recipient of the FPJ Memorial Award—attended the 2019 FAMA Awards wearing a black Michael Leyva dress and Audrey Hepburn’s Givenchy black velvet hair bow. Velvet Knotted Headband
