Victoria Beckham slammed it to the left and shook it to the right at London Fashion Week, much to the delight of the internet. It was also her LFW homecoming, after 10 years of showing at New York Fashion Week instead of its UK relative.
Beckham was also celebrating the 10-year anniversary of her label, hosting a show nearby her Dover street flagship store. DJ Siobhan Bell shared two videos of the very nostalgic dance party. It’s very fun to see Beckham go full Posh Spice as she jams to “Spice Up Your Life”. The show was an intimate occasion at Galerie Thaddeus Ropac, an international contemporary art gallery, and all of Beckham’s husband David Beckham and all of her children — Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper — were at the show.
The designer shared a video of her impromptu Spice Girls performance, captioning it, “Disclaimer: high heels on the sofa at @marksclubmayfair. #startsomethingpriceless @mastercarduk x VB #VBSince08.”
It seemed to be an emotional day for Victoria Beckham, who looked casually stunning on the runway with a camel blazer and black pants. The show was dramatic and elegant, opening with model Stella Maxwell descending a marble staircase in a white, loose-fitting blazer and pant. Laid-back yet tailored was the vibe with diaphanous lace alongside sharp blazers. The Guardian reported that 250 guests were in attendance and talked to Beckham before the show.
“I get more nervous every season, not less nervous because the brand keeps getting bigger,” she said. “This season I wanted it to be about women as well as girls. I wanted to have women on the catwalk who my customer can relate to.”
