In a new video for W magazine, Cardi B reveals her hidden talent: ASMR, also known as autonomous sensory meridian response. For the uninitiated, it is defined as “an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin” in response to a noise stimulus. Painter Bob Ross is famous for producing this effect through his soft-spoken voice. But in general, whispering or nail-clicking sets off that the feeling for a lot of people. If you love the spine-tingling sensation that ASMR produces, then prepare to be “okurrr’d” into a tingly submission by Cardi.


“I love ASMR,” she whispers into the mic. “My husband [Offset] thinks it’s very strange and weird that I watch ASMR ever single night to go to bed.”
