The Phyto-Pigments makeup collection, like their skincare, is certified organic and plant-based – always a win in our books. In creating a line of makeup sans chemicals, the products boast an innovative list of ingredients including coconut alkanes (instead of silicone) for smooth primers and foundations and purple carrot and flower petal pigments for colors.

“I usually start my routine with a primer. I’ll opt for something with a smooth texture, so I love the feel of this product. It’s made with coconut alkanes and has the same feel as a silicone product but without the damaging chemicals. It’s smoothing and illuminating.”
Step Two
Phyto-Pigments Flawless Serum Foundation
“Next, I’ll work in the Flawless Serum Foundation. You can really see that this is a serum and a foundation, so give it a good shake before use. It’s made with Aloe leaf juice and the same fruit stem cells as their serums, so it is super effective at covering and protecting the skin.’
Step Three
Phyto-Pigments Last Looks Cream Blush
“One of my favorite products is the cream blush compact. I do everything with my hands and this is so easy to pat on for a fresh glow. ‘Seashell’ is a really flattering bright pink shade made of rose and purple carrot pigments worked into a coconut oil base. The payoff of these products is so impressive.”
Step Four
Phyto-Pigments Ultra Natural Mascara
“I’ll do a quick swipe of mascara everyday. But finding a natural mascara that actually works is a challenge; they’re either too dry or too thick. This formula doesn’t clump or flake, which is great.”
Step Five
Phyto-Pigments Luminous Lip Crayon
“I finish off my look with the luminous lip crayon. It’s oil-based and like their other products, goes on so smoothly. Malibu is my favorite shade and compliments my skin tone perfectly.”
