A Behind-The-Scenes Look At Kaia Gerber’s Jimmy Choo Campaign

Kaia Gerber, daughter of ’90s supermodel legend Cindy Crawford and businessman Randy Gerber, already has a reputation that proceeds her. The 17-year-old model has walked for top brands like Valentino, Chanel, and Versace. She’s been featured in magazines like Vogue and Love. And now, she’s the face of Jimmy Choo’s new Spring/Summer 2019 campaign.

So far, the brand has only released one behind-the-scenes image from the advertisement, which shows Gerber going incognito, peeking out from behind a stark white curtain. In the shot, she’s wearing a black hoodie, sunglasses, and a pair of space age-y slingbacks that look like they are fashioned out of mylar.

“Kaia leads the next generation of supermodels,” Sandra Choi, creative director of Jimmy Choo, said in a statement. “Her timeless beauty and fashion pedigree enables her to be a true style chameleon that authentically represents the dynamism of the Jimmy Choo brand transcending generations.”

Official images and details of who shot and styled the campaign are still under wraps, but will be released on January 10, 2019.
