This transitional weather is nothing short of confusing-as-hell. What’s worse is trying to figure out how to get dressed in the morning. How do you navigate your wardrobe when you start your day on a train ride to work that leaves you drenched in sweat, only to arrive at a chilly office where the thermostat is set to below 60 degrees fahrenheit?
The answer, my friend, is layers. Lots and lots of layers. Or maybe just two, depending on the climes wherever you may be. If you’re going to choose only two layers though, make sure it’s a jacket or coat that you can bundle up in when it starts to get a little frigid, and a lighter layer for when you can’t stand the heat.
A fun way to keep your transitional spring wardrobe looking fresh is by incorporating fun prints and patterns into the mix. Sling a houndstooth duster or trench coat over your favorite t-shirt, and voilà: you’ve got foolproof system of checks and balances (see what we did there?) to keep your outfit from looking seasonally inappropriate.
