For the past few months, Zoom has had our professional meetings, birthdays, funerals, whathaveyous events and such looking like the opening credits to The Brady Bunch. It may be funny and charming, but if everyone is matching we end up looking like a musical theater troop at a summer camp.
I can imagine there is nothing worse than realizing you’re wearing the same hot pink pajama top as Karen from Human Resources. Even worse, imagine being the only person in a Zoom conference to be wearing pants…
So how do you express yourself during Zoom meetings without having to say how you feel with words? The answer is graphic tees. And lots of them. If you don’t have a work ‘uniform’ (which you shouldn’t at this point) you have the beautiful ability to say it without spraying it. Aka, wearing a t-shirt that describes your mood.
And then there’s tie dye—the forever-loving, peace spreading fabric fun activity that has made a giant comeback, not only because it’s one of the most fun activities to take part in since summer camp. You can’t go wrong with the spirals and swirls that would make even a rainbow cry.
Do you hate Mondays, but love fishing? There’s a graphic t-shirt for that. Do you love Tweety bird AND have a bad attitude? There’s a graphic t-shirt for that. Do you LOVE yoga? There is definitely about 100 different shirts you could wear to express yourself for whatever passions and sports you’ve taken on during a frightening time.
And, sitting there, like an egg in a carton, wearing a shirt with giant roses on it, I start to feel a little competitive for attention. Here is an eclectic selection of tees to help you stick out like a rotten egg—in the best way.
