How skilled were you with your eyeliner at 7 years old? Chances are, novice at best. But, some of us are just naturally born with the steady hand needed to create a sharp, crisp line — one of those people just happens to be Blue Ivy Carter.
The eldest of Beyoncé’s children has a lot of titles under her belt: singer, songwriter, red carpet staple, and now, budding beauty guru. According to her grandmother Tina Lawson, Blue Ivy is “quite the makeup artist,” and told Entertainment Tonight that “She puts stones and does all this fancy stuff. She can do a perfect cat eye. She’s a little artist.” Sounds like Blue Ivy has been taking a few notes from Euphoria‘s makeup mood board.
Though we’re sure Queen Bey doesn’t mind her daughter’s dabble into the beautysphere, Lawson noted that Jay-Z isn’t so happy with her cosmetic experimentation. “I’ve bought Blue so many makeup kits, much to her dad’s dismay,” says Lawson. “But it’s just for playtime. We have fun!”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of Blue’s makeup obsession: Beyoncé has previously posted on Blue’s makeup skills on Instagram, proving yet again that the fledgling makeup artist could have a flourishing beauty career in her near future.
