Bucket Hats Are The 2018 Trend That’s Here To Stay

Looking back, 2018 has been a wildfashion trends included. While some fads were more ephemeral, like tiny sunglasses, others have lasting power that will carry them into the New Year and beyond. Enter: the bucket hat. To trace its origin story would be a long and winding road, but to say it’s popularity spiked this year is an understatement. Here to renew the bucket hat’s lease on life is Madeline Poole, an editorial nail artist who launched her brand Feveroom’s first line of bucket hats today.

“Feveroom is a New York based creative studio, founded by Madeline Poole,” the brand’s website reads. Currently, it sells two different (and reversible) styles of the “Lil’ Bucket:” Natural, an animal-print bucket hat with a highlighter orange interior, and Supernatural, a pink version with a yellow satin interior. They both retail for $60 and feature the brand’s “FVRM” logo on the center of the hypebeast-approved piece.

The designs are inspired by “fire and electricity,” as Poole tells Vogue in an interview. “It’s for multiple personalities.”
