For more than a century (we’ve been celebrating since 1909), International Women’s Day has marked the celebration of the achievements of women worldwide. From women’s suffrage to equal employment rights, the day has commemorated many a milestone for the female population.
From wage gaps to the #metoo movement, this year, more than ever, we as women need to show solidarity and support for one another in the ongoing battle for equality – there is much progress still to be made.
